Will this technology work with any lathe ?

No we only recommend that the sensor system is used with pole lathes.

We have tested the system with both Mike Abbotts racing lathe and a lathe more like the one pictured on the left.

Both systems work fine and are easily adaptable.

Is it easy to set up ?

Unfortunately not. Even as the core developers of Sound Lathe we struggle to remember how all the sensors and software fit together. We see this as part of the fun, but you should be prepared to waste many hours getting everything set up and working.

Can you really dance to the SoundLathe ?

This really depends on how good your lathing is. The BeatBodger beat software corresponds directly to the rhythm of the pole lathe so unless you are a really good bodger the beats are likely to sound broken and will be hard to dance too.
