m-Log workshop at [ SPACE ] London

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in the second m-Log workshop. Steve and I were totally blown away by everyones enthusiasm and creativity. We completed 5 new m-Logs and have 2 in Owl care for some pretty minor adjustments.

m-Log granular looper

If anyone feels comfortable using SuperCollider and has a working m-Log have a go on this. Its a pretty simple granular looper that I have been using a bit in live performances. Any improvements would be welcomed, cheers simon

A cunning technique for replacing capacitors

After discovering I had soldered up a load of wrong capacitors on some board I came up with this cunning technique to remove them.
It removes the component with no damage to the board.

Necessity is the mother of invention

Not m-Log related but genius from a Chechen fighter.
Who will be the first to add this into their log ?

Last last last fridays m-Log workshop

For those who didn't make the second m-Log construction day, we managed to finish Antti's log, made some modifications to Reinharts, and finished sarahs which was possibly the tidiest constructed m-Log yet.

Here is Sarah with her finished unglued log.... Hopeful still time to change that capacitor.

Capacitor problems

Well this is really embarrassing but this is what happens....

m-Log - page link

There is now a page for the mlog project online at http://217.72.188.122/~varia11091/owlweb/m-Log.htm

attempt to link image from flicker

Ok everyone this could be the best way to insert images.

Upload your image to somewhere like flicker. Then make a blog
post and put the image link within the standard html img tag

Then choose the full HTML mode.

Hope that makes sense

Simon
